Sole Trader Admin is an online platform designed to help tradespeople and other small service businesses manage everyday business administration. It brings your website, customer enquiries, diary, quotes and invoices together in one place.

It is aimed at UK sole traders and small local service businesses — plumbers, electricians, cleaners, gardeners and similar. If you work for nearby clients under your own name, the same records and website tools may still fit, even when your trade is not listed.

The core tools include a professional business website, website enquiries, customer records, a business diary, quotes and invoices. You can also add services, photographs and other supported content to your website.

No. You can create an account, add customers and use quotes, invoices and the diary without publishing a website. Many people prepare the site when they are ready.

No. Sole Trader Admin is not accounts software. It does not record expenses, file tax returns or support Making Tax Digital filing.

No. You edit the words and photographs in sections, then publish when you are ready. You do not need to write code.

Yes. Saved changes stay private until you publish again. The live site updates when you publish.

Yes. One web address you already own, after Sole Trader Admin has checked the domain settings.

An included public website address is not switched on yet. Until it is available in your account, there is nothing to share from that address. You can still prepare the site, and you can connect a domain you already own after a check of the domain settings.

Yes. You upload photographs for your pages and gallery. Each written recommendation needs a tick confirming you have permission to show it.

No. Sole Trader Admin does not copy or replace an existing site automatically. Where available, a review of your public website may suggest wording or photographs to help you start a draft. Your existing website is not changed.

An invited business can use the product for 30 days. It does not take a card. When the 30 days end, nothing is charged. You would then choose monthly or annual yourself. Creating an account on this site is not an invitation.

Visitors can send an enquiry from your published site. The message is stored in your dashboard with their name, contact details and what they asked for.

Yes. Name, telephone and address sit on one customer record. Enquiries, diary notes, quotes and invoices can use that same person.

No. It is a simple business diary for your own day, not a staff rota. It does not sync with Google Calendar, Outlook or another calendar.

Yes. You write a quote for the customer and raise an invoice from the same work. You can download a PDF or email it from Sole Trader Admin.

No. Sole Trader Admin does not take card payments or collect invoice payments online. You record payment yourself when the customer pays you by your own method.

Your account stores the profile you enter, customers, quotes, invoices, website content and enquiries. Photographs are stored privately and shown on the published site. The public privacy notice is still a draft, so it is not a finished statement of processors or retention.
